Helping you child using a Movement Programme
SIMPLE (Sensory Integration Movement Programme for Learning Enhancement) is a programme that can be used at home to help your child. It has been used in schools and research has shown that it can raise children’s learning.
Does your child exhibit any of the following?
Clumsiness, disorganisation, short memory span, poor attention and poor balance, difficulty with sports and games, difficulty riding bicycle, poor tables manners, concentration, fidgety and difficulty keeping still, reading and writing problems.
Then SIMPLE will help your child.
SIMPLE will help your child in the following ways:
- Enhance coordination
- Enhance concentration and attention
- Enhance learning
- Help cope with stress
- Enhance visual processing
The half day workshop will look briefly at the theory as to why your child might be having difficulties with some or all of the above. You will have the chance to experience and learn the simple movements that will help your child in order for you to put this programme into practice at home.
