Dr. Alweena Zairi, PhD, B.Ed. Hons., KRFP, IPTI, DPA assoc.

Dr. Alweena Zairi and the CHILD Centre are based in West Yorkshire, England.

Dr Alweena Zairi is an experienced Kinesiologist, teacher and researcher. She taught for twenty three years in primary schools across different counties in the UK. She also worked at Huddersfield University training teachers.

Dr Zairi completed a doctorate on Raising Children's Learning and Performance in Schools, which involved researching the underlying problems of children’s learning and behavioural problems. This included researching the impact of retained reflexes, movement programmes and sound therapy on learning.

She is the creator of CHILD (Centre for Holistic Improvement in Learning and Development) and offers information seminars and training to enhance children’s learning and behaviour. She uses her vast knowledge of holistic therapies to improve children’s performance at school and to help them overcome social and behaviour issues.

Dr Zairi has also trained as a Kinesiologist and Sound Therapist and uses kinesiology and Sound Therapy in private practice as well as in schools. She also treats adults using kinesiology and energetic healing.

She has also created Clearing Circles which use the law of attraction and the Hawaiian system of hooponopono (which loosely translated means ‘to set things right’) to establish what each person wants to create in their lives, and offers tools for clearing sabotages, negative belief systems and family patterns that preventing them reaching their full potential.

In addition she has created the CHILD Circle which helps children to become more focused, attentive, present, authentic, creative and connected in the classroom and in their relationships.

Her own practice of Ho‘oponopono, along with her meditation practice led her to create Attuning Full Potential (AFP) in collaboration, with Kinesilogist , energetic healer and Reiki master Caroline Ancely.

She is the author of ,Raising children's learning and performance: A study in a large UK school.

Currently she is working on another book with Liz Gill titled, Enhance child learning and behavior the SIMPLE way: A movement programme designed to help your child’s development.
